Shanshan is a sugar painting artist and Newcastle University graduate. She speaks both Mandarin Chinese and English, and has a background in party and event operations. Passionate about handmade crafts and cultural experiences, Shanshan loves bringing joy to guests through live sugar painting. Her greatest reward is seeing people smile and enjoy the moment.

How does the service work?

Once you book our service, our sugar painting artist will attend your event and offer 5–10 design options for children and guests to choose from.

Each sugar painting is freshly made on site as a handmade lollipop-style treat. We can usually create around 10–20 sugar paintings per hour, depending on whether the chosen designs are simple or more detailed.

How much does it cost?

Our sugar painting service starts from:

  • 1 hour — from £220
  • 2 hours — from £300
  • 3 hours — from £350

Additional travel fees may apply for locations in London Zone 3 and beyond. Extra charges may also apply for bookings on special festivals and holidays.

What do we need to provide?

You only need to provide one adult-sized table and chair at the event venue, and make sure there is a power socket nearby.

Our sugar painting artist will bring everything needed for the service, including a tablecloth, extension lead, cleaning supplies, and all sugar painting equipment.
